Does electrolysis hurt?
Pain thresholds are very different and influenced by things like how tired you are, your menstrual cycle, medication and prior treatment experience. Our therapists are very experienced with this treatment and you will recieve the most comfortable treatment possible.
We generally find it to be more uncomfortable than IPL, and similar or slightly more discomfort than waxing, depending on the area being treated.
Is Electrolysis hair removal permanent?
This technique is deffinitely proven to be permanent and has been around for a number of years. Where IPL can not treat red & blonde hair, Electrolysis can be the perfect solution.
Please keep in mind that it is only as good as the technician using the equipment, so make sure that you go with an experienced therapist for your electrolysis treatment.
Does Electrolysis treatment cost a lot?
A series of treatments over 12 - 18 months is required. The cost for the procedure is more than waxing but less initially than IPL. With it being a permanent hair removal treatment, Electrolysis can be the cheaper long-term option.
